Located on the south-facing slope of the Vars resort, Chalet Chantelevent is a vast 400 m² chalet with spectacular views of the slopes, the Eyssina and the Écrins massif. Designed to accommodate up to 24 people, it's ideal for a stay with family or friends, or to celebrate an event in a setting as comfortable as it is warm.

Recently renovated, the chalet offers 9 bedrooms and 8 private bathrooms, spread over several levels, allowing everyone to enjoy an unspoilt space to relax. Comfortable bedding, smart TVs and a dormitory complete the sleeping facilities.

The heart of the chalet lies in its large, bright living area: a dining room that can seat 24 guests, a convivial lounge with wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen and direct access to one of the two panoramic balconies. It's a space designed for sharing, getting together and making the most of your vacations, summer and winter alike.

In terms of relaxation, the chalet boasts a complete wellness area: year-round outdoor heated swimming spa with jet pool and Jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, not to mention a gym, billiards table and table soccer. After a day on the slopes or hiking, the return to the chalet becomes a moment in itself.

An ideal all-season destination

In winter, Vars is part of the Forêt Blanche ski area, with 185 km of pistes, snowparks, freeride and guaranteed snow from December to April. Vars winter highlights: dog sledding, 360° panoramic views from Peynier, snowmobiling at sunset, giant tobogganing, snowshoeing at dawn, gourmet break in a high-altitude restaurant, guaranteed laughs on the Caribou sled.
In summer, the resort is a magnet for hikers, mountain bikers, legendary mountain passes and the nearby Lac de Serre-Ponçon for water sports. With 300 days of sunshine a year, the Hautes-Alpes offers an exceptional setting all year round.

In autumn and spring, enjoy lower rates and a more peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a weekend getaway with friends or family. Birthdays, weddings, reunions or just a simple get-together: any occasion is good for creating beautiful memories, in a magical setting of peaks, high-altitude lakes and uniquely fragrant larch forests.

Services and options

End-of-stay cleaning included, wifi, baby equipment, raclette and fondue machines, washing machine, tumble dryer... everything is provided to simplify your stay. On request, we can also organize a home chef, caterer, ski instructors or sports guides.

We offer Sunday-to-Sunday rentals in high season (winter/summer), with weekends possible depending on the period. We accept one dog for this chalet, but we cannot accept cats.
