The chalet is located in an alpine hamlet at an altitude of 2000m, on the south side of the mountain, facing a breathtaking panorama of the Meije, and is accessible by 4x4 vehicle or by a 15 minute walk. The village of LA GRAVE (one of the most beautiful villages in France) is 30 minutes away from the chalet. The cable car of the Glaciers de la Meije can take you quickly up to 3200m of altitude on the slope opposite Les Clots. Many hikes in the Ecrins National Park are possible from the chalet. The chalet is not rented in winter (15 November-15 March)
