In the Meije and Col du Galibier area, this vast chalet apartment (with its twin) offers direct access to SKI (downhill, cross-country, snowshoeing, hiking) in a family setting, and the proximity of the family resort of Chazelet (5km, ski-bus during school holidays), the "off-piste" resort of La Grave-la Meije (3km), the "SNOW-KITE spot" of the Col du Lautaret (7km), and the large ski areas of SERRE CHEVALIER and the 2 ALPES (20km), then the ALPE D'HUEZ and the Col du MONTGENEVRE (45km)
From mid-April to the end of October, all the mountain activities take over: climbing, hiking, paragliding, walking, fauna and flora observation (with the Botanical Garden of Lautaret), and of course biking: the Lautaret, Galibier, Granon (one of the hardest passes in France!), Montgenèvre, Izoard, l'Alpe d'Huez; mountain biking: Grand Briançonnais mountain bike area (from La Grave to Montgenèvre by the tracks), FFC marked circuits for all levels, free-ride at the Meije. To test: VILLAR D'ARENE / Col du GALIBIER= 15km for 1000m of difference in altitude, by the road or the old road in mountain bike. New: automatic timing between la Grave and the Galibier.
But also the sunny climate of the Southern Alps and the "village" atmosphere, the festivals (Rencontres-Haute-Romanche and Messiaen)
