The village of La Chapelle d’Abondance (Haute Savoie), 5 min from Châtel, 40 min from Lake Léman and Thonon-les-Bains and at an elevation of 1000 m (3280 ft) is perfectly suited for a family holiday.

In the summer, on foot or on a mountain bike, explore 750 km of marked paths between Switzerland and France.
Discover the pleasures of rafting, canoeing or other whitewater sports as well as fishing, rock-climbing, paragliding or simply swimming in the picturesque open-air pool in Châtel.
The proximity to Lake Léman and Switzerland enhances the diversity of possible activities. The Abondance Valley is a region rich in art and history; guided tours of the various sites are available.

During the winter, take part in downhill or crosscountry skiing and engage on beautiful hikes on snowshoes.
